terms and conditions

Please read the following terms and conditions for your small animal boarding at Your Pets at My Home:

 Payment

  • Payment to be made in full upon your pets arrival (or pick up from your home), we will not accept pets without full payment.

  • If you are paying by cheque this needs to be done in full at least 10 days prior to your pets stay. A refund is only available if 48 hours notice is given.

  • At present we are unable to accept credit or debit card payments, bank transfers are possible. These need to be made at least 7 days prior to your pets stay.

  • If you need to cancel a booking, we request a minimum of 48 hours notice. If the stay is not cancelled within this time frame, we reserve the right to take full payment. We may however defer payment to a later date, but this is at our discretion.

     Vaccinations

  • If your pet is vaccinated you will need to bring proof of this upon your pets arrival.

  • We do accept non - vaccinated pets, but owners need to be aware it is at their own animals' risk.

     Food/Dietary requirements

  • As a sudden change of diet can cause severe illness in animals, we do ask that you provide enough of your pets usual dry food to last for their stay.

  • If your animal has any medical requirements these can be catered for only if full instructions are provided.

     Contract

  • You will be asked to sign a contract upon arrival where you will need to leave 2 emergency contact numbers, as well as details of your name and address and details of your holiday.

  • Any information you do give us is totally private and will never be passed on to anyone else.

     Emergencies/Vet care

  • We will try to contact your 'emergency contacts' to take your small animal to a vet should it be required. In cases of emergency if your emergency contacts cannot be reached by telephone, then we will take your pet to the vet of your choice where the bill can be forwarded directly to yourself. If your preferred vet is unavailable, we reserve the right to take them to a vet of our choosing, all costs will be transferred to you the animal owner.

  • Your Pets at My Home will not accept any responsibility for illness or death occurring within animals either during or after their stay, as no animals will be neglected or ignored and contacts will be called should a vet be required. All accommodation is disinfected prior to your animals stay. 

  • No refund will be available should your animal go into the care of a vet whilst staying at Your Pets at My Home.

    Non - collection of pets

  • Any animals not collected within 48 hours of the specified collection day will be passed onto Animal Control and will no longer be under the care contract of Your Pets at My Home, unless alternative arrangements have been made for the collection of your pet. Pets will not be released until full payment made for any over stay incurred.
